Smaller property with friendly staff, especially the man at the desk he was extermely thoughtful. Clean and well maintained even though it is slightly older. The room was nice, and the bathroom was spacious and had plenty of towels and fairly nice spa quality products. The paint and decor was dark and "clubby" as they say, I would have prefered modern. The spa and pool are small and so so, but they are clean and available. Things are difficult to find with a lot of unmarked doors and small corridors. Blocks from Santana Row San Jose, and only a short distance from the heart of Santa Clara and Cupertino.

Wonderful hotel. Great customer service and very friendly staff. Centrally located to all areas in the silicon valley. The Club breakfast was great and really enjoyed the Asian twist (white rice and Furikaki seasoning) during the breakfast. Although we weren't in the room much, we would have liked the room to have cable and a flat screen TV. A fan in the bathroom would have been nice too, but these small items are not a deterrent from staying at this hotel again.

We spent one night at the Moorpark and found it very comfortable and clean. We ate breakfast in the restaurant which was OK, nothing special but adequate. It was in a good location to visit the Winchester house which is the primary reason we were in San Jose and within walking distance to two restaurants. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We would certainly stay there again if in the area.

This hotel offers very spacious rooms. Although, you are in essentially a strip mall, the hotel manages to make the pool area very private and nice. Service was excellent. Location is a great alternative if you are in downtown San Jose for business and can't find a place to stay downtown. Location is 10 mins from downtown.
